A beach house on a steeply sloped small site (only 330m/2) with uninterrupted sea views. This brief was to accommodate a large family at holiday times. Although all spaces are connected, it is designed in such a way that people have privacy and do not live on top of each other. A very subtle nautical theme was brought into the design. Full use of the views was made from all rooms. For barefoot holidays, warmer materials such as timber floors and clay tiles were used throughout. Interconnected living area: Lounge/ dining / kitchen / fire place area. 4 Bedrooms – main bedroom with own private lounge. Large separate rumpus room, washing room, safe, servant’s room, double garage, and view decks with belvedere on top.
